The small door retracts up into the gate tubing at three height intervals (5”, 6.5” & 8”) so it can be left open at the desired height, depending on your pet’s size. When it’s time to close the cat door, simply use the designated slots found on the door and squeeze to gently bring the door down – no annoying dog door that’s been left open to trip over! This dog gate has an extra wide 22” door for the entire family to walk through with ease. To control the direction that the gate swings, a swing control lever allows you to decide – swing in one direction or allow the gate to swing in both directions. There’s also a glow-in-the-dark feature which illuminates the large easy-grip handle, making it easy for you to see and open the gate at night. This dog gate comes in a crisp white finish that will blend seamlessly with any home decor, while its heavy-duty steel construction is chew-proof and built to last.
